Biological Orthopedics Clinic

Advanced methods of tissue repair, treatment of inflammation and orthopedic pain
In recent years, various methods of treating orthopedic pain have been developed using the body's natural healing processes - this is biological orthopedics.
Studies demonstrate that orthokine and PRP/PRF are safe and effective treatments from the patient's body that are often an alternative to invasive surgery and allow for a return to activity and reduction of pain - read more about the treatments.
Who is the treatment for?
Orthopedic pain
Orthopedic pain occurs as a result of natural wear and tear of the joints, chronic inflammation of the soft tissues or bruising. These are pains that limit mobility and functionality that are difficult to cure with standard treatment.
In many cases, it is possible to prevent or delay invasive treatment (surgery) by injecting at the exact site, so the use of ultrasound will provide a more effective treatment.

Sports injuries
Intense sports activities can lead to injuries to the muscular and skeletal system: excessive use of the muscular and skeletal system can lead to acute or chronic injuries.
The body's healing mechanism creates inflammation as part of the body's healing process, but causes pain in ligaments, tendons, and joints throughout the body.
Our treatments will strengthen the body's natural mechanism and accelerate healing so that you can return to full activity in a short time

What is biological orthopedics

PRP injection combined with ultrasound
The use of components of the body to induce the body to stop the chronic inflammatory process or to encourage it in cases where it is necessary to promote inflammation.
What is local inflammation? Inflammation is part of the body's natural healing mechanism, but this mechanism can get out of control and become a self-replicating process. Inflammation causes pain and limitation of function for an indefinite period of time.
Regenerative orthobiology uses technologies that activate the body's mechanisms depending on the patient's problem, including initiating or stopping the inflammatory process. The goal of treatment is to reduce pain and improve movement.
These treatments use natural substances from the patient's body to promote a quick recovery, without the use of standard medications.
Our Treatments
Our clinic specializes in regenerative treatments:
Orthokin and PRP/PRF.

Orthokine
A medical procedure developed in Germany in which anti-inflammatory factors are removed from the patient's blood and injected back into painful areas. The main anti-inflammatory factor is called IRAP and is obtained by isolating it from the blood using a special kit.
Orthokine is a treatment method that uses a powerful protein (IRAP) that blocks the receptors needed to create inflammation in the body (interleukin, IL-1). Although inflammation is a healing mechanism of the body, a prolonged inflammatory process can lead to damage to normal tissues and expand damage to the body.
Method of treatment: blood sample, incubation in special test tubes for 24 hours, separation in the centrifuge to produce the therapeutic component. When the material is ready, a number of precise injections will be performed, sometimes with the help of ultrasound.
PRP/PRF - platelet-rich plasma
Treatment with platelet-rich plasma uses the healing properties of blood to stimulate a reaction in the inflamed tissues that will lead to recovery. Platelets in the blood contain special growth factors, their release allows you to activate stem cells that contribute to the healing process.
The blood goes through a separation process in a centrifuge, during which unnecessary components are removed in order to concentrate a large number of platelets, which we will inject into the inflamed area.
Regenerative orthopedics is mainly used to treat muscle tightness, tears, ligament tears, tendon tears, mild arthritis and joint instability.
Treatment method: blood sample, centrifugation to isolate the necessary components. When the material is ready, several precise injections will be performed using ultrasound.

Our team

Dr. Omri Berger
Orthopedist
Has an orthopedic license and an MBA in health systems management.
"As an orthopedist, I looked for alternative ways to surgical intervention, since the recovery process is long."
Already in residency at Hillel Yaffe Hospital in 2014, Dr. Berger began looking for a variety of treatmentsTo prevent invasive processes that can be performed with alternative treatmentsThus he formulated a method for micro diagnosis to find a customized solution for the patient: "to move from macro scope to micro scope".
Regenerative orthopedics is an opportunity to expand traditional orthopedics where invasive intervention is a last resort and a minimally invasive preventive or restorative treatment that enables rapid rehabilitation through the body's biology.
Regenerative orthopedics is in constant development in the world, but the result shows tremendous potential together with alternative methods for invasive or medicinal treatment.
The treatment we do in our clinic is innovative and creative in two ways: we are required accurate diagnosis to find a personal solution. That's why we make use of advanced technology that helps us to provide personalized treatment for the patient's needs.
Acquired extensive experience through courses in Israel and abroad in minimally invasive treatment, through injections to the pain points and treatments with regenerative methods. Experienced in ultrasound directed injections that help in obtaining an optimal result.
There is great satisfaction when you see the rehabilitation process of our patients because through our treatments we get to see people who have difficulty returning to activity after the pain has stopped.

Dr. Paul Demby
Expert - orthopedist
Licensed orthopedic specialist. I believe that the future is already here and want to be at the forefront of innovation and in the process an expert in regenerative orthopedic treatments(regenerative orthopedics).
Born in the USA and immigrated to Israel in 2013 after completing his medical studies. In Israel he began training Orthopedic surgeonIn the best hospitals.
Dr. Demby has earned the reputation of a doctor who takes on challenging cases that the traditional treatment finds it difficult to provide an optimal solution. Through a personal approach he succeeds to find a unique solution for each patient, including in difficult situations.
A personal and specific approach is the way to tailored treatment.Dr. Demby has a comprehensive approach to his patients' pain.
Towards the end of his internship, he discovered a passion for regenerative orthopedics: he wholeheartedly believes that in the future it will replace the traditional surgical approach to most orthopedic problems. Surgeries can be invasive with long recovery and complications. Dr. Demby believes that surgery should be considered a last resort after all other options have been exhausted.
"The future of orthopedics lies in minimally invasive and innovative preventative treatments that can delay, if not completely prevent, the need for some major procedures."
After discovering his passion for regenerative orthobiology, Dr. Demby gained skills and knowledge by studying with several experts around the world. He completed extensive training in all types of orthobiology, as well as gained experience in ultrasound injections.
